Gary's Story
So where to begin... I married in'82, had two wonderful girls, Victoria & Christina and a step son Daniel... now they are 25,23,33 respectfully... sadly I was divorced in 01 after almost 20 yrs together.. floundered around a bit then met and married a great woman, Debbi. She had 4 boys from previous marriage. now 19,17,15& 11! Then a late life surprise was bestowed upon us... in 2003 (ugh I was 46..) we had Twins... Zachary & Anna, but what great fun they are... keeping me young..... they are going to be 6 in march '09.... I was a regional VP for Sbarro's Italian restaurants. I spent 10yrs with them until a horrific accident I had on a thursday evening while heading out to bowl in a league. I was hit head on, on wolf hill rd... a young girl crossed into my lane while chasing her bf traveling approx 60 ...Expand for more
in a 25mph zone....... I have had 35 operations and procedures over the last 17 years... It happened in '91 ... I have been disabled since...I get around well though my rt foot is fused and I lost about 1" in length off my rt leg... I walk with a canadian crutch... I am very lucky to be here. I guess God has plans for me yet... any way I don't let it slow me down too much. I have developed a medium sized Tax & Accounting practice here in NC.... I relocated here after my accident... I am in Cary just west of Raleigh, the Capital of NC. It's just like LI was 15 or 20 Yrs ago... even in this awful ecnom. NC has good growth and continues to be a destinastion of choice for many companies and families.... The weather is not as harsh... Oh well I am running on here.. So many years... So much has happened..
