Gary's Story
Life
Sue and I moved from Bay City in 1982 to Roswell, Georgia. (about 20 miles north of Atlanta.) Our four sons, now 28, 30, 33, and 36 grew up as southerners but we never let them say Y'all! Randy (33) is maried and has children, Katie (7)Randy (5)and Matthew (3) Jeffrey (28) got married in May of 06 and he and his bride Jamie live here in the Atlanta area with Joseph (3) and Rose (1)... Gary II is soon to be married and recently completed his MBA in business at Notre Dame. Jeffrey also went to Notre Dame in the engineering school and followed with an MBA in business. Casey runs stores as a regional manager for PGA Golf Stores. (Golf Equipment chain) He is recently married and has a son, Elliot (3). They all decided to go to colleges that challanged our finances. Wharton Business School, MIT, Ithaca College, and Notre Dame. While still a Michigan fan, I do have to admit to pulling for Notre Dame now as my 2 daughters in law, two sons, and friends kids have have all gone to Notre Dame. Sue and I are looking forward to an empty ne...Expand for more
st and welcome all of the grandchildren at any time. . I've spent my time working in the financial planning business for individuals and business. Sue has worked on and off but for the most part was a stay at home mom and a very good one at that. Living in a big city is much different than good ole Bay City. In a recent visit to BC I was able to get accross town in 10 minutes. That rarely happens here as accross town could be 50 miles. All in all, it is a good place to bring up kids and grow old. My passion other than my family is golf. I always try to get better but rarely break par anymore. Have been back to Bay City a few times in the past year for some weddings and some funerals and the town has not changed dramatically. After 4 years of drought and slogans like "if it's brown, flush it down and if it's yellow, let it mellow" seem to be over. Have had plenty of rain to keep the resavoir filled enough to provide water to 4 million people. The economy does not stink as bad as many parts of the cpountry but it is still felt here.
