Happily Retarded...oops, Retired after 40+ years slaving in various Service Field's. Began as a Respiratory Therapist in several Chicago Hospitals, then as an In House Printer for a Credit Bureau, When the Credit Bureau was bought out by Trans Union, I changed over to A General Office Person for a Fraternal Society..21 years later, I was hired by the Art Institute of Chicago, working for 13 years as a Night Security Officer. Relaxing in Retirement with 2 Pensions and Social Security. Organised several Reunions; first for the 25th Anniv of my Eighth Grade Class from St Peter Canisius School, then for a 50th Anniv Get-together of my AHS Class of Jan '64, most recently...a Reunion of my old Boy Scout Troop from L...Expand for more
a Follette...Park. Also, organized several Bus Outings for a couple Organizations that I belonged to.
Served as an American Red Cross Volunteer First Aid Instructor for almost 15 years & as a 37 year Volunteer for the former Labor Day Telethon for the MDA.. Spent many years as an amateur Historian of the Town of Austin & have several artifacts that are from the past couple Centuries .Now, working on my Family Tree as a Proud Enrolled Member of my Ancestral Wyandot Tribe which was located on the Canadian side of the Detroit RVR. As a long-time fan of good Music, I've been a Subscriber to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for many years & often hear the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the Training Orchestra for the CSO.
