Gary's Story
Life
After leaving SPHS in my senior year to join the army, I spent 24 years in the service. I served in armor, artillery, infantry, and intelligence. The last five years in intel were in Vietnam and finally Washington, DC. I retired there and went to work for the Department of Justice's Tax Division, first as a security manager and then as a computer programmer. Retired from the department in 1996 and became a full time RV'er. I now reside in Alamo, Texas, seven miles north of the Rio Grande. My wife and I somet...Expand for more
imes travel in the summer and have visited 44 of the lower 48 states. We would like to see all the national parks, but they keep adding them.
Workplace
After leaving St Pete High to join the army in my senior year, I decided that wasn't the brightest thing I had done. I finished high school, attended SPJC and then in a moment of madness, rejoined the army. Seventeen years later I retired and went to work for the Department of Justice in security. Retired from there in 1996 and am now enjoying South Texas winters.
