Gary's Story
I actually never attended Hampden Academy. I attended an exchange concert at Hampden Academy, as a member of the Hartland Academy Band, where I met Prudence A. Day. She is the reason I logged in as a Hampden Academy alumni, in the hope I might find her, or she might find me. Apparently not meant to be.
Anyway, I hope my school acquaintances remember me as a descent person who was always willing to help someone out. I also hope they considered me as somewhat talented and courteous. My parents brought me up to be polite, although I learned there are times when that is nearly impossible. Still, I try to always remember to open doors for others and to respect my elders. 0, I find it harder to find elders to respect....lol.
I dearly appreciate my friends and have fond memories of many good times. I wonder how you are all doing. Feel free to let me know.
Lastly, I've loved music since at least age 4 and always will. It has seen me through many times, both good and bad. My best experience with music was probably winning Rhythm Guitarist of the Year in 1990. The ost difficult was singing Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain at my grandmother's funeral, although I was honored that she had requested it.
God bless all of my classmates and may your lives be filled with peace, love and whatever they consider as fortune. My fortune is my loving family and I am truly rich.
