Bought our first sailboat in 1983 and enjoyed many years sailing around the San Juan Islands in the PNW then bought our cruising sailboat in 2003 berthing it at Ballena Isle Marina. My wife Cindy was an elementary school teacher. We now have 9 grandchildren and expecting our 10th in early March 2011. We untied from the dock in July 2008 and after a short sail north turned the boat around and headed to Mexico. We cruised in Mexico up and down the Baja Peninsula and Pacific coast of mainland Mexico for a little over 2 years. In March 2011 we plan to take off across the Pacific Ocean for New Zealand and Australia. We have a blogspot under the name of svdistantshores that you can visit to see some of our blog entries, posted pictures and current location. Our story continues! Cheers y'all.
