On the eve of our 50th year reunion, I finally got around to updating my profile. Back in our day, it was easy to lose track of friends and not recognizing the importance of this in our youth. We also didn't have social media and cell phones which make it easier these days. Unlike a lot of people, I have fond memories of high school days. Most of my nostalgic memories are from Colquitz. When I got to Mt View I kind of disappeared from the social scene as I was working a lot and "preparing" for university which in hindsight wasn't as important as it seemed at the time As most of you likely know, Colquitz has been uprooted and transformed into a middle school and Mt. View is no longer physically there; however, much of the surrounding neighborhoods and streets around the schools remain the same. I know some of you are still in Victoria as I have randomly heard from a few of you through coincidence and of course many have been curious but I had no profile to follow up on..
