Gary's Story
Life
It took me awhile to get done with college, I had too much fun playing rugby at LSU. I worked offshore and at a couple of other jobs to get college money, after graduation from LSU I waited tables, worked as a landscape contractor, for the State of Louisiana as a Sociologist, hung sheetrock, waited tables again, then in 1982 began working for ARCO Oil and Gas in Lafayette. That took me to Dallas in 1985, then to Houston in 2000. I'm now (July 2007) working at Anadarko.
My wife Kim, whom I married in 1985, have 3 children, the oldest of which, Sarah, is an junior at University of Texas. Marie is 17, Zack is 15. Kim is a pastor in the United Methodist Church and is an Associate Pastor at St. Peter's UMC in Katy Texas.
