(1 Corinthians 15:1-4 ESV) “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15 ESV) "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:1-2 ESV) Nehemiah 8:1, ...."bring the Book".". More about Gary:"To see evidence of God's grace in my life one need not look any further then my wife. She is a wonderful woman and a true gift from God. My prayer is that I will grow and become more and more of a blessing to her as God has used her so mightily. Well its hard to write in a small block titled "about me" to give you the information that would serve you well. The main reason is that my life story has everything to do with God and nothing to do with me. I am a sinner. I know that so...Expand for more
unds like a confession at an AA meeting or a declaration of someone who has come upon there death bed but it is in fact the only thing you need to know about me. BUT GOD (How wonderful those words are) There came a point in my life that God opened my eyes to this condition that I so readily can admit to you but up to that point never saw. I always thought I was a pretty good person. But God in his wonderful mercy for no reason in me called me out of the darkness I was so deeply in. He did it without my help or permission. I saw myself for the first time as a guilty sinner and then more importantly I saw Him as a Just Holy God who must not just let guilty sinners go. It was at this point Interject THE CROSS It was here that I saw Gods attributes collide in a cosmic display of His glory. I saw God's Justice, His holiness, His inability to allow my sin to go unpunished at the cross of Christ. I saw all my sins on display and I saw something that cannot be expressed in words but if attempted it would be the word MERCY. The legal transaction..more specific my fine being paid. God's legal transaction within the Godhead. I broke the law and Jesus Christ paid my fine in His life's blood. Now God can legally remit my sins as paid in full not based on my merits but the person and work of Jesus Christ through repenting of my sins and trusting in Christ as my only propitiation or payment made to God. Now I know I am going to heaven not because of who I am but in spite of who I am. The offer stands for you today. Today is the day of salvation. Repent and Trust in Christ as if your life depends on it because it does. Then read your Bible everyday and God will never let you down.".
