Gary's Story
Life
Well, I floated around Terrace for most of my youth, playing ball, partying, working some. I went to NZ for a bit to play ball and work. Once I got back to Canada, I moved to Saskatoon where I lived for about 6 years. It is there that I met my wife, and also went back to school. Once I successfully completed my college course, I was moved back to BC(Kitimat actually)where I worked in the petrochemical industry(Methanex)for 17 years. eautiful girls. It was early last year that Methanex closed their doors and layed us off. My wife Lois and I decided it was time to move and we are now located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta where I am employed with Shell Canada and Lois is employed with Bantrel Engineering.
Our daughters have all grown, married and are now parents themselves. Yes, we are grandparents twice over, with two more grandchildren on their way in the new year.
That is where I(we)are at in our lives right now.
