Gary's Story
After high school I attended WV Tech and Marshall University. Graduated from Marshall Univ. and joined the army. Thought that I was finished with going to school but once in the army I was in school again for over a year and half learning Arabic and French. I guess my high school Spanish teacher was wrong about my ability to learn a language. I spent the next 20 years living and working in North Africa and the Middle East. Somewhere along the way I lost a couple of wives but I am currently married to a great woman. I retire...Expand for more
d from the army as an officer after 20 years of service. After retiring from the army I started up a military contracting company and did security contracts for special operations units for 5 years. That was enough for me, so I got out while I still had all of my body parts intact. During that same time I started up another company in WV, a cabin rental company. I have been running that company for the past 8 years and I am in the process of selling it too. Now I have moved back to the lower keys for my final retirement.
