Gary's Story
After high school I went to San Diego State and got a degree in Journalism. Worked as an underwriter for an insurance company for a few years unti 1983. In 1984 I got married and started working as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. 1990 we had a son, Michael, who is a Poway High graduate of 2008 and currently attends Cal Poly-Pomona. Did lots of running, 10-K's, half-marathons, etc during the 80's and early 90's. Have sung in a church choir since 1984. I was "Officer Krupke" in "West Side Story" in a local play in 2007. Sang in the quartet in "The Music Man" in 2006. Favorite activity for my wife and I is going to Hawaii every two years. We're addicted to the place.
