Gary's Story
Hello Everyone,
Well, as I write this I'm one month from turning 57 years old -- I can hardly believe it! So far, I'm in good health, get alot of exercise and enjoy life! I've lived in Midlothian, VA (just West of Richmond, VA) for nearly 24 years, and have no plans to leave the area.
After high school, I spent a number of years in various colleges and loved the world of education. I married at age 27 and have three wonderful children. My son is a Midshipman in his second year at the U.S. Naval Academy. My oldest daughter is married and lives in Richmond. My youngest daughter attends a private school in Chesterfield County.

I've also been fortunate to deliver yachts from the Carribean to Virginia, and from Bermuda to New York. Given my love of the ocean, each trip ...Expand for more
was a life-changing event for me. Those of you who've known me since elementary school might remember that my goal back then was to sail a small sailboat around the world. Well, it looks like that's not going to happen, but I got a little taste of what it would be like.
I've been working in the mortgage business for the past 20 years, and am currently employed by SunTrust Mortgage involved in a special project. I'm very fortunate to work with really nice people who treat me like family, and that's especially important since I've been single for over ten years.
Some of you may remember that I had a very strong interest in music. I have continued to play piano, organ, guitar and other instruments throughout my life. While not a professional musician, I still write songs and play guitar every day. I can't imagine my life without music!
Thanks for reading this, and I wish all of you the best that life can offer!
