Gary's Story

It is now mid-April, and we still have some snow on the ground! That's what I get for living in Presque Isle! How did THAT ever happen?? My old friends and classmates in warmer climes can have your chuckle! My wife, Danielle, and I do have plans to move further south (a lot further south) once job and house responsibilities are resolved. I'm retired from employment with the State but Danielle still has to work for a living. Well, she IS a lot younger, as those of you who met her at the class reunion can attest. I graduated from UMO with Joy, Polly, and other BHS grads. I taught for several years, including five years of teaching Speech at Cony H.S. I then worked at several positions for Maine DOL, the last being 15 years as an investigator. We have three cats, all black ...Expand for more
and white, which is strictly coincidental. I've got two grown kids and a few grandchildren. I used to collect old-time radio programs and went to several conventions. Met some wonderful old veterans of that medium through the years. Had dinner one time in Waukegan with Jack Benny's grandchildren. Wonderful stories! I'm a movie buff also and have more old films than I know what to do with. I'm pretty healthy for an old guy and have dropped a lot of weight since the reunion. I enjoy following some of my old friends on Facebook, like Jeff C., Jennifer, Herb, Phyllis, and others. Still would like to get ahold of Anita. Not had much luck there. And did Murch totally drop off the face of the earth? Still grieve recent losses like Larry and Fran. Love and good luck to all!!!

What a great time we had with this show! Mr. Dorian directed and was great, until he got screwed by the administration. Long story!
