Update 4/22/08 Let's see.... where to begin.... I guess after High School. 1981: I was working in Fairlawn at the Bob Evans restaurant until 1981, and wanted to get out of the restaurant business. Well, if you remember in '80 the unemployment rate was what?.... 6.8? I remember there was/is a grocery store on the North end of Wadsworth, I think it is/was called Bueler's?. Anyway, I remember them hiring for 3 days with the ¼-long lines for employment. Unbelievable. Well, Mike Mc Abee and Mark Neider were living in Oklahoma City (after high school), and they called me and told me to come down, there were jobs everywhere. And they were right, so I moved in with them in the summer of '81. Ask me to tell you some stories sometime. Well one thing lead to another, then came John Martin (Mark's step-brother), Joe Wemmer, and Kenny Rogers all living in one apartment. On one visit to Ohio one summer I ran into Dave Perry at a party, and he ended up coming back to Oklahoma with me. Long story short, 8 guys, 2 bedroom apartment = Insanity. Some of the greatest times of my life though. Additionally, my brother and his friend moved in too. Anyway, things got too much to handle, so Dave convinced me that we should go on our own, so Dave and I snuck out one night and moved to Texas, living in my car for 4 months.
