Gary Worrell:  

(Life) I was born in Christiansburg, Virginia on December 1, 1947. I went to 1st & 2nd grades in a one room schoolhouse in Walton, VA. Did the 3rd-5th grades at Bethal Elementry in Montgomery Co. VA., and half way through the 6th grade, my family moved to Radford, VA. where I finished the 6th & 7th at Belle Heath Elementry and went to Radford High until the start of 1967 when I was drafted out of my senior year. After some wrist surgery and 11 mounths of recovery, I finally enlisted in the Navy in October 1968. It took me nearly two years to finish High School. After 23 years in the Navy, I retired in June 1991 and moved to Galax, VA. After working some of the factories around the area, I moved to Florida (Fort Lauderdale) to help my father-in-law in the pest control business. After he sold the business, my wife Deb & I moved to Naples FL where I worked at The Inn on Fifth (a four star hotel), as the maintenance supervisor. Later I got my CDL and started driving tractor trailers OTR around the country. I took a breake from driving in 2001 and went to work for Wal-Mart for about a year & a half and then went back to driving. Reacently I've stopped driving for a while again.
