Gary's Story

After leaving GHS, I attended Baylor for two semesters, but had too good of a time and came back to Gatesville to go in the real estate business with my father in summer of 1973. Diane (Davidson) and I had two sons (Garett and Jonathan) from our marriage. We divorced in 1978 and I married Sherri Jones Crosthwaite in 1980. Sherri has a son (Phillip, or P.C.) from a previous marriage and we have a son (Clifton) together, born in 1986. I worked for former Gov. John Connally and former Lt. Gov. Ben Barnes from 1980-1983.
