Gary's Story
I married Jan Wright - also in our class. We had our 35th nniversary this year (2012). We joke we have two only kids - a son born in '84 (married and 3 kids as of 2012!)) and a daughter born in '93.
I graduated from Pharmacy School at Purdue and then worked at Upjohn (pharmaceuticals) in Kalamazoo 11 years before moving back to Indy and joining Lilly in 1989. i worked many years in technical services for manufacturing and retired in 20122 as a systems analyst providing software for directing and tracking the manufacture of our products.

branches of my family tree. Also that my mom's dad developed a device long before we were born that attached to a tractor; you plowed one lap around the outside of the field; the device was lowered into the trough from the first lap and then it guided the tractor around the field until it reached the center! I usually think of automation as being during our time - but not in this case. BTW, he obtained a patent for his device.
Even better yet, a few years ago we found that on Jan's side, her Grandpa Baker was married at one time to Gladys Monroe Mortenson who later had a daughter who went by the name Norma Jean Baker. Yes, Marilyn Monroe!
