Gary's Story
Graduated from OSU in 1969, moved to Los Angeles, got drafted and went to Sunny Vietnam for 1 1/2 years as an interpreter in Military Intelligence. Came home in 1973 and started a photography studio in Gahanna which I had for 10 years. Got married in 1974 to a women who has put up with me for 41 years. After photo studio, got job with US Postal Service which has gainfully employed me for the past 31 years. Moved to Raleigh NC about 25 years ago as a job promotion. 31 years. We have 3 children, aged 38, 36 and 32. And we have 8 grandchildren, aged 16, 14, 6, 5, 5, 4, 3, 1 and 8 months. I coach my church's co-ed softball team and played as the pitcher until I died in May of 2012 (ask me about this at the reunion). In March of last year, in anticipation of retirement in a couple of years, I started my photography business up again. I shot 12 weddings last year and have 15 weddings already scheduled for this year. I plan on taking pictures until I leave this world...
