Gary Phillips:  

My life in a nutshell. After high school, I served 4 years in the military, where I went to Europe for 3 years. Instead of coming home when I was on leave, I traveled to all the countries there. I had a great time & learned about the different cultures in the different countries. When I returned I met, and married my beautiful wife Marietta, a New Yorker. She is a loving caring career woman that I love today as the first day I met her. We were blessed with three beautiful daughter¿s , whom have shown me the real meaning of love. My youngest daughter Melissa, disliked High School like me, instead of taking a negative approach, like I did, she decided to get it over with, and she graduated from Desert Vista High School in 3 years. She is now a junior at NAU ¿Northern Arizona University ¿, working on a duel major. My middle child, Amanda, graduated from Arcadia High School where she was captain of their state champion high school soccer team and she was elected the Prom Queen of her Senior class. She is now a certified/licensed real estate agent and is working on finishing her bachelor¿s degree. She is married and her husband¿s parents ironically are also Coronado alumni, (small world).
