Gary's Story
Life
I attended Texas Tech & graduated in 1969 with B.A. in Government. I then attended UT Law School in Austin, graduating with a J.D. in 1972. I married Ann Smith, MHS Class of 1966, in 1970 in Midland. We moved to Wichita Falls, Texas in 1973 where we have resided since. We have two sons, Michael, born in 1975, and Mark, born in 1977. Ann has taught 2nd grade for 17 years in Holliday, Texas, and for 5 years at Episcopal School. rcher County for 10 years, and now again in private law practice for 9 years. My mother still lives in Midland, Texas. My father died in 1988. Ann's mother also lives in Midland. Her father died in 1999. We come to Midland to visit approximately 4 times a year. Our older son, Michael is now 24, married, and living in Greenville, SC. Our younger son, Mark, is now 23, a student at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, and engaged to be married in May 2001. I would like to hear from fellow members of the class of 1965.
