Pamela's Story
Hi all! Most of you knew me as a quiet, studious type girl. I was, for the most part anyway, very quiet in high school. I finally starting becoming my own person in my twenties. Became a little party animal for a few years and HAD A BLAST before settling down and starting a family. I wouldn't change a thing in the way it's worked out.
Met my future husband in 1989 and we married in 1991. We have a daughter Bridgette who will be 17 in Sept, 2008 and we have a 14 yr old son Dillon. Life keeps me busy! Our daughter is on a competitive cheer squad which attends national competitions and she's also a varsity cheerleader for her high school! Our son loves to play soccer. Both of our kids are straight A students and neither one of their parents were so don't ask me how we got so lucky! Overall, I can't complain one bit about being the mother to two teenagers. We now live in a small town in Michigan but not far from South Bend, IN. We love it here. It's peaceful and I enjoy the nature and outdoors. I do a lot of photography - which I've done since I was 12. I'm just better at it now! For the past 14 years, I've been working in data processing. Became a supervisor for Simplicity Pattern Co but have recently been laid off due the company moving it's data department to Nashville. So.....I'm taking online courses in graphic design now and hopefully will work from home due to the kid's schedules I have to keep. Figured it was about time I do something I enjoy for the rest my days here!
Would love to hear from any of you out there that might remember the quiet, shy girl I was. Wasn't popular, but I was there if anyone noticed.
