Darryl's Story
First of all I am still standing upright and breathing, that to me is amazing. Personal info: I still live in San Diego. I was married for 39 years until my wife passed in late 2008. I have one son, now age 30. I worked at many jobs from repo man to general contractor to my present part time job as an associate editor/ writer/photographer for a small magazine. For a time I was a walk on high school football coach and helped start a wrestling program at one school. ish remodeling my home. 2010 is scheduled to be my final year of working, if I can find someone stupid enough to take my place at the magazine. After all these years I want to start and hopefully finish one of my biggest dreams, to build a custom car. If anyone knows where I can find a 1950 to 1954 Chevrolet sedan delivery or 2 door station wagon please e-mail me immediately, I want to get started.
I am looking forward to 2011 and the 50th reunion of the class of '61. For many years I would run into classmates, but in the past 10 years instances of that have become increasingly rare. It will be fun to see some familiar faces even it they are not that familiar anymore. Until then as Tiny Tim would say, "GOD bless us one and all".
