Life
After traveling all over the US & Canada for my job, I am now settled in Austin, TX. I love it here. It is a wonderful place to raise children & grandchildren.
I am married for the 2nd time for 22+ years w/2 grown children - a daughter who has 2 sons, 1 step-son, 2 step-daughters, My son has 1 child, a son.
My husband & I love sailing. We have our big boat in Punta Gorda, Florida & our smaller in Austin, TX. We love sailing, we sail to the Dry Tortugas & the Bahamas every winter. Other times we sail around the gulf coast of Florida with our grandchildren.
My Mom & siblings still live in & around Charlotte, NC, Ohio, & SC.

The one person from my past, I'd most like to see again is Leslie Flowers, because we were the best of friends & I have missed her so very much..

What has my children taught me ...
TOO MUCH!! LOL
My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be so very old. I was so completely WRONG!!.
I worked very hard for many, many years. Now I am retired & love it!
I share my home with Bill, my husband, who is a wonderful person..
In 10 years, I hope to be living in the Caribbean. I'm going to get there by patience & waiting for my grandchildren to grown up.
My current oldest friend is Sharon Overby Cooper. We met through our children. My daughter thought I was working too much and needed to get out more. So along comes Sharon. We were as different as night & day. Which made for a wonderful combination. We have been friends for about 20 + years. She is more of a sister than a friend. My other best friend was Diane Holik. We didn't know each other that long, but she was a wonderful person. I am sorry to say her life was cut short by a horrible person. She was murdered in her home in 2001. I love/loved her as though she was my flesh & blood sister. I miss her terribly.
