Gayle's Story
Life
My husband, Jon, and I now live in Auburn, Wa. and I am sales manager of a wholesale millwork company in Tacoma. We spend a few years in Alaska which was a "once in a lifetime" opportunity.
After high school I attended L.C.C. for a while, married, had three children, went to work in the building materials industry, and after my children started school I went back to college and finished up at St. Martin's in Olympia where my children and 7 grandchildren live.
I love sports, photography, mystery novels and a group of women in the building materials industry called the 'Hoo Hoo Ettes'. I even played women's soccer for 12 years. In...Expand for more
2005 I was diagnosed with stage I breast cancer and underwent surgery and treatment. So far, everything is good and I am back to life as usual, except for a renewed joy for life and adventure and a huge amount of love for my supportive best friends and family. Everyone should be as lucky !
Our 45th class reunion was a wonderful event showing how hard work and dedication by the committee paid off for all the attendees. It was so good to see so many old friends from all over the world.
