I'm getting older and wiser as the years roll on. I'm married now to the same person for 43 years. What's our success you ask. Well, we're not perfect and our kids weren't perfect. I do think they're neat kids in their own rights but perfect? Nah...but the center of our lives is Christ. It wasn't always easy, we had to work and never give up. Did we ever get mad? We sure did and do still yet sometimes. It's okay to get mad, just don't sin in the process. We live in the woods, some call it country, but we're not so far from a city I can still get groceries and way more than I should sometimes. I'm living on a road I named. What would be a good ol' Tennessee name? Yep... Rocky Top. Good ol' RockyTop. We're fortunate that one of our kids (a daughter) built their home just across the drive where we always had a garden when the kids were growing up. And now the best that comes from that garden are my Grandgirls Abigayle and Emma. What precious babies (9 and 10) they are! We use to couldn't wait until they were old enough to walk back and forth between the houses and now they love when NaNa is home and they can come a call 'in. Thirty one years in this house and I guess we'll be here till one of says goodbye to this world and hello to eternity. Vence built a lot of this...Expand for more
