School
I guess without school, being a teenager wouldn't be the same. Miss Daniels made a wonderful impression on me because she trusted me. I think that helps me with my own students to give them respect when they have shown it to me. I was told by teachers that have been at the school for years that this certain 6th grade girl doesn't like any of the teachers. I talked with her everyday and agreed that her feelings were right, but that sometimes we have to keep them to ourselves. I was proud when she was the first o...Expand for more

College
I feel that as a parent I needed to stay at home with the children if at all possible. My mom didn't, but I always wished she could have. I was involved in the school(parents-in-ed and mother's club) and activities(dance, football) for my kids. David and Michelle were teens when I went to college. We studied together. Let me tell you, That Was TOUGH!!
Workplace
I've been substitute teaching since 1997.
