Gayle's Story
Life
Married my high school sweetheart, Ron in '66. Had two children,Jeff is 33 and Jennifer is 23. Jeff has given us a great grandson who is 5. We've lived in the Houston area since '71 and I have taught preschool for 20 of those years. We love camping, traveling and dining with friends.We have plans to retire to Wimberley by the end of 2005.Hope to get in touch with friends before the possible reunion in 2004.Can't believe its been 40 years!!!!And if you are reading my husband, Ron's, bio on the Carroll site, just know he did not teach preschool for 20 years. I cannot delete it from him and have my bio stay and Classmates cannot seem to undo whatever I did to create this mess!!!!!Now this mess has extended to the Miller list and all I did was log on to find some old friends, never intending to be added to the '64 graduate list. Sorry for any inconvience this has caused anyone.

The things I remember most about high school are pep rallies, Y-teens on Tuesday nights, Mr Nickerson's business clas...Expand for more
s, 2 cent rolls in the cafeteria, drivers ed and that horrible steep hill downtown and that standard transmission car we had to learn on, failing Miss Todd's algebra class, Sr. Boys Ritter dance, lots of graduation parties, and what a sweet person Susie Thomas was to everyone. I miss people I thought would be my friends forever.I hate the thought of many of them passing away and me not knowing, and regret the years lost by not keeping in touch. 2004 is fast approaching and may be a chance to say hello again. If you read this, take a minute to write your bios and to e-mail an old friend or two. We can make this reunion a great one by getting in touch with those you'd like to see again. Thanks for checking in on me.{And if by chance you are checking on Ron and not Gayle, just know this is Gayle's memories and not his. I cannot and Classmates does not seem to be able to correct this mess I created, so my bios appear on Ron's site. I just wanted to check on a few of our Carroll friends and all this happened!!)
