Hello everyone. I am writing to you from Las Vegas, Nevada. My husband Ed Miller( Lourdes '79 graduate) and I have lived here for almost 10 years. We have two boys- Jack age 8 and Danny age 4. After self employment for almost eight years I have decided to go back to school to get my teaching certification and Masters in Education. Las Vegas is growing so fast that there is a high demand for teachers here. I initially wanted to teach middle school math but with the No Child Left Behind law I am finding that I need quite a few more Math classes. rsuing that route. I will probably try Middle School and see how I like that but I could teach through 12th grade. I am interested in Teaching English as a second language also. I don't know how that is in New York State, but the demand here is incredible. Needless to say between school, homework, working part time and my boys schedules it gets a little crazy around here at times. I'm sure most of you feel the same way. We are looking forward to returning to New York for the Thanksgiving holiday so I will be attending the reunion. Hope all is well with you and your families. I am looking forward to seeing you.
