The buttercups in our front yard in all their glory.
My daddy's daddy was a cab driver.  My nanny used to fry up onions, potatoes & hot dogs for him and she called it Cab Driver Special. I switched out the hot dogs for kielbasa. Tasty tradition.
Roast prkb tenderloin.
The beginning of a long story and a good meal.
Pork tenderloin roasted in the oven on top of onions and apples in my favorite SCAN pan.
Great stories at VASA Annual Gathering in Culpeper.
My hand covered in Unguentine burn ointment after I grabbed the hot pan. Good news? The meal was delicious.

Anybody recognise these snake markings? I beat it's head to a pulp but it looked triangular when I started. Goldie was barking at it and it was striking at her. First snake ive seen in Landslide in the 6 years I've been her
A little swelling. Slept well. The Percocet works well. I'll unveil the "wound" tomorrow. Anticipation ;)
By popular demand, The Scar. There's still some swelling.  And a stitch was infected for a while,  but all in all, cancer free again. :) Thanks William Baxter
While on the morning limp we caught sight of a white squirrel just down the street from Nancy McMahon's house.
I'm not cutting the grass until the buttercups are gone.
Marie's irises have bloomed.
I don't know what you call these blue things along the walk, but I think they're beautiful.
The short and winding road... Marie and I just laid a walkway from the driveway to the front door, so she won't get dew on her shoes walking to the car in the mornings.
Sitting in the sanctuary at First Baptist Church at Monument and the Boulevard in Richmond waiting to listen to Rex Ellis, Barbara McBride Smith and Donald Davis tell stories at America's Best Storytellers.
