Luft - 1968". More about Geary:"Born as a post World War II "Baby Boomer" you can say I have a very much a solid outlook on life today. I am somewhat a blue collar sort of a man that took deep intrest in education very early in my life. I started out totally involved in engineering. I was deeply intrested in all forms of manufacturing. I served in several training programs by some of the largest companies in their fields. I had taken off from public schools to take part in private training courses in engineering. Many of these programs took several years. I then learned that one needs to understand how the front office operates as well. I then took every business course in business management I could get. Then I found there was a lack of understanding of management and labor. You can say there is a division of the classes within our nations industrial complex. I went into the area of sales and marketing for companies both here and companies from overseas operating in the USA. It was very hard for someone like me to work for people that order you to use methods that are not what I would call proper and upstanding. I was raised that a man should stand by his word and trust is right up there next to God. I found my bosses to be crooks. They would lie and break every rule I ever was told to respect as a young man growing up in my middle american world. One boss went to jail for selling chemicals to drug labs. Another company closed down due to the stock holders stealing funds. I went to the other stock holders to inform them when I learned of it. Yet these people still got away with it. I had turned to teaching for several years hopeing to train a new fresh generation of people the right way. Teaching them to work hard and to think as a true team member. Teaching them to treat people with fareness and understanding. Working with peope at all levels side by side. Never to look down on anyone person nor judge them by the amount of money they have. To teach them that everyone no matter what they do is important withing a working nation no matter what color they may be. As I got older I started to take note of people with disabilities. I worked with small children many of whom could not walk, speak, or even feed themselves. That really makes you think about life on a totally new level. I came across a group of careing loving people who saw life in a way that we all should. To be thankful for the little things. Things like the ability to have good health, food to eat, a home, a mother and father that love them. These people restored my basic teachings that I was told as a child. In the...Expand for more
late 60s when the school system was so over filled with children and then there was only one teacher to 35 students and no teacher's helper in the class. I recall classes out of control due to wild kids taking up too much of the teachers time. If you wanted to learn you had to get the hell out of there. I was going to go overseas to school. I was about to leave when a friend of mine was hurt in a attack on the very school I was headed for. The attack a direct hit with a rocket blasted both his legs off and killing several others. I was forced to remain here and return to school. I studied and worked in heavy industry during those years. I signed up for any and all training from these companies. I saw life as being hard and there is no point to make it any harder looking for problems. I never smoked nor drank. I never had anything to do with drugs. I saw friends really get messed up with that sort of things. They were not my friend for long. I have brothers that were and still out of control. One borther drinks like a fish, and smokes like a forest fire. He was so much a problem he was expelled from school and he never finished. He works in the building trades, and will have to work hard till the day he dies. I have another brother that was given what ever he wanted by throughing a fit. He would take what ever he wanted, and never care who it belonged to. Today he goes from one company to another when ever anyone wants to buy his customers away from his former company. That is the sort of guy that gives Wallstreet a dirty name. For that sort the only thing that matters is the dollars in his pocket, and what ever else his sort can get his hands on. The word there is SELF ENTREST in his world, and to hell with you. I have an other brother who works to helps jump start our city business. He has worked long, and hard to bring people together to overcome hard times. He is very quiet and very bright. He really cares for his city & country, and the people that live in it. Now he is one that gives far more than he ever asks for. In 1984 there was an explosion, inwhich I was nearly killed. I lost my eyesight, and had some plastic surgery. I took several years to regain some of my eyesight. There has never been a day without pain. My back feels as if there is a sharp pain with every movement. I could be sitting, standingor laying down the pain is there always. I thank God and the doctors that restored my sight what there is of it. A day does not go by that I say "THANK GOD" for each day of life. After that I spent as much as I could helping those that were in poor health. My parents gave me life the least I could do is help them in their last years. I recall my father working long hard years to provide the best he could. I recall my mother always home keeping house, and I was never a "Latch Key Child" as many are today. I have been a writer for years since 2001. Most of my works have been in the area of human life in present times and how people behave in our world today. Many observations may seem small and yet life has gotten much harder as the world moves faster only to find itself createing more hardships. With two books, and a new one in the works there is a lot to write about. I get so dam tired hearing about people in Hollywood and there problems that they made themselves. People like that are a total wast to the human race. So if you wish to join a new group of writers contact me. There is always a cup of coffee ready for you.".
