y more than in lilterature. literature is for reading, and i keep coming back to Milton's Paradise Lost & Melville's Moby Dick. Favorite book last 100 years = Earth Abides, written in berkeley/past and set in berkeley/future. Posthumous love affair with Jim Morrison, ongoing worship of Bob Dylan, delight in Bob Seger. poker with friends, bridge with strangers.
