After graduating from FMHS with the Class of '71, I attended Winthrop University and USC-Lancaster studying Business Administration and remain to have the occupation of an administrative assistant to date. I have always had a great interest in special events planning especially for charity events and go on with doing so from time to time if I feel coupled to the worthy cause. I've been living in Charlotte, NC, since marrying H. Grier Stanford, III. Grier and I have raised our son, Brandon, in South Charlotte near the Ballantyne area where Brandon attended South Meck High School. After following Brandon around on traveling baseball teams through his middle and high school years and then on through his college years at Greensboro College in Greensboro, NC, I am at this point an "empty nester." But now I continue at the present time to follow Grier around playing in his Charlotte Senior Softball Slow-pitch League.
