Gene's Story
Hello fellow alumni of Griffithville High School,
I hope everyone who reads this is doing well. I am glad to be ending 2009. We have less the 90 days to go to get into 2010. I hope for world peace, a chicken in every pot (well maybe just a little pot), and time for every one to enjoy their hobbies.
I dusted off my motorcycle and went for a couple of rides to work this past week. I am ready to head out for a ride this weekend somewhere. Some of my Goldwing group is riding to Furnace Creek, Death Valley, CA. I think I may join in on the ride.
I have cracked the study guide from American Radio Relay League for the FCC Extra Class license. I have my General FCC license, and enjoy the amateur radio hobby. I keep telling the wife I want to put in a 200 foot tower in the back yard to get my antennae into the ozone.

I am looking foreword to taking a cruise in 2012 as a school reunion. Please take a look at the message on the white board. You can respond to me via Classmates email. There are 4 of us so far that have expressed an interest in going.
Think about getting together in 2012, perhaps we could come up with a plan for anyone who doesn't want to go on the cruise to meet for dinner the night before the cruise. Right now I am thinking to cruise out of Galveston, TX for 4 days in the western Caribbean
