Gene's Story

After graduating I went into the US Army. I served in Vietnam 1970-1971. I lived in Manhattan KS and started to go to KSU for computer science But moved back to Englewood in 1972 after finishing my time in the Army. I got married and have been for 37 years. How Kristi has put up with me I'll never know! I was a Letter- Carrier in Englewood Co for 18 years. I transferred to Mesa Az and carried mail here for 18 years... so I went from cold winters to extremey HOT summers. Two years ago I retired and now work as a Volunteer at the VA He...Expand for more
alth Clinic in the East Valley. That has been a rewarding experience for me. I did get to travel a lot while our daughter worked for the Airlines (she was always working so we enjoyed her benifits) LOL. My plans now are to enjoy my grandkids, retirement, do more traveling and camping, working part-time and helping others. I miss all my old friends and cherish the good times that we've had.
