Some say I talk a lot so this will be brief... Graduated from O.U. in 1969, married Jean Cochrane, and into the Air Force and pilot training. After pilot training off to Selma, AL, & Craig AFB as a T-38 instructor. In 1974, orders to NKP (Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai AFB) as an OV-10 pilot doing forward air control. Orders canceled in route due to the war winding down, and now off to Minot AFB, ND, as a B-52 aircraft commander. From their to Cheyenne Mountain AFS (Colorado Springs), in 1978 to work in NORAD. Two years later off to Thule AB, Greenland, for a year at the BMEWS radar site. In '81 it was back in B-52s at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, LA. Three years later, it is back to Colorado Springs and Air Force Space Command, Three years later, I moved to U.S. Space Command at Peterson. Retired from the AF in '89. I'd had all the fun I could stand! Worked for a year or two for Wyle Laboratories doing SETA work for Air Force, Army, and Naval Space Commands. Wyle closed its Springs office in '91. Took about 3 month off, and then did some consulting work until hired by CTA doing SETA work again. Left CTA for a job with the City of Colorado ...Expand for more
