Update 2020 So many things have happened since I last posted in 2016. Being a Project Coordinator/Manager is like being a "hired gun". You come into town and get the project done then on to the next town. AbbVie Pharmceuticals, Walgreens OPCO, and ABC Supply. Just started another contract position with Astellas Pharma US. Glad they were hiring amidst COVID-19. Working from home since end of March with no immediate end in sight. Has it plus side, I guess. More traveling in 2018 - back to Italy for another two weeks. Wine and Food tour. Started in Florence and ended in Rome. Beautiful cities, plenty of vino. la vita è buona! Update 2016 When life hands you lemons... Lost my job at the University after 13 years. Being middle-aged isn't easy when you're looking for a job. Plenty of skills - too many, almost. So I ended up taking the Spring/Summer off (March thru mid-October). Did some traveling again in September for two weeks - Ireland. Beautiful country - family roots on my Mother's side of the family. Would like to go back again. After I returned, I had to get serious about finding a new job/career. Was blessed to find something back in the pharmaceutical industry as a Project Manager for a major company located here in Illinois.
