Genevieve's Story

Hello--I am Genevieve's daughter. I am sorry to say my mother is a resident on the 5th Floor (Skilled Nursing Unit) at Gibson General Hospital. She suffers from Alzheimer's (or some form of dementia) and is unable to do even basic things for herself. She is getting great care. We had her home with help coming in as long as we could. kids working full time, we could no longer keep her in her own home. Although she is now nonverbal & not very responsive, we do continue to talk to her like she understands us. We would appreciate cards from old friends so we could read them to her & have more to talk about with her. Please consider sending her one! Thanks!
