Life
I have just entered the computer world, better late than never. I,too, like so many of you got out of smog-ville and live in Wisconsin. Strange for a Cal. girl to live in the midwest but I like it, and I love the seasons. I am married (18yrs)but never had any kids, I do have 3 step-kids but they are all grown and on their own.I was a Sports Injury Rehab. Therapist for many yrs but have now retired. My husband is a Sr. V.P. of a big co. here and is a semi-pro golfer. We hope to retire in Hawaii in the next few yrs if all goes as planned. My husband also wants to play on the Pro Senior tour...We just bought a home (04)on a golf course in Lake Geneva, Wi. and a townhome in Hawaii, so will ditch out of Wi in the cold mos!
9-09...well...life is changing after 15 yrs. in Wisconsin! We have just bought a home in Prescott, AZ where we will move to at the end of the year. We have our home up for sale in Lake Geneva and hope to sell it next year. I will be closer to my niece Heather who lives in Phoenix and my sister in law...my Mom is moving to AZ also, she is 89! Bruce and I have just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary!
3-20-11..We have now been in the beautiful mountains of AZ. 16 mos. and really love it. We have 3 great acres to walk around on..Took so...Expand for more
me time to get use to the quiet and solitude...but we enjoy it. We have seasons here but very light in comparison to WI ...!! Bruce can golf just about any day of the year..if it does get too cold, he only has to drive down the mtn. to Phoenix and Play!
My niece, Heather, who lives in Phoenix with her family just had a baby boy, Zane. He is so cute, we just got to see him recently. I am finally a Great Aunt! Wow, 55 this year..where has the time gone? Darrell, 57, Feb 4...Yikes! :) 22nd Anniversary approaching too! Life is Good!
Unfortunately the only new news I have is, my Mom passed away on Jun. 10th. She was 90. She lived with us for the past 3 yrs. so I am struggling a bit...but, we will be okay. We had pretty much given up our routine to take care of her, so now we will be able to get back to living our lives. We should all be so lucky to make it to 90!!
9-5-11...We just got back from a nice long road trip. It was so nice to get away! We are looking forward to going to our home in Hawaii this year for the holidays. We will hang out there for a couple of mos. friends and family will be visiting, always a good time. My Niece, Heather, is pg. again, and having an other boy in 2012! Guess she is making up for her Auntie having Zero!!!! Better her than me!!
