Genny's Story
Life
Hi, classmates! After Carter High, I went to SMU, where I met Danny White (not the quarterback, the software engineer!) and discovered a passion for computers and the guys who run them. I was happily married to Danny from 1976 until he lost a long battle with kidney cancer in 2004. In 2007, I married our very dear friend Davin Church, who has been "part of the family" since 1978. me his "apprentice", and I've been working at home with him for many years. I enjoyed being a Cub Scout volunteer for 23 years, 1990-2013, and though my sons decided the outdoor life was not for them after a while with the Troop, I never outgrew the fun, and led Tiger Cub activities and new leader training until I finally retired from scouting. I'm still in a wonderful choir at Custer Road United Methodist Church, and I've learned to play handbells in my "old age" and love it! If you remember me, please drop me an e-line and say hello!
