Geno Miller:  

After High School, I went to College at Clemson University, S.C. Did not like Clemson. I didn't know one soul there. I was on the swim team for a while but eventually realized that I wasn't built to compete at the College level. I transferred to GMU after a semester. After a year and a half at GMU, I transferred to Va. Tech and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Business in 1980. I worked for a year building swimming pools and then as a legal courier for a large law firm in Washington, D.C. I then went to Law School at George Mason University School of Law (now the Antonin Scalia Law School) for the next three years, graduating in 1984. I passed the Virginia State Bar exam on the first try and scored high enough on the Multistate portion to waive into the District of Columbia Bar. I started practicing law in a private firm but then was hired by GEICO as a Staff Counsel attorney in Fairfax in 1986.
