Geoffrey's Story

After spending 25 years as a roadie (road tech) for rock n' roll bands, went back to school and began a career in real estate sales at Lake Tahoe. Retired 10 years ago and currently live aboard my sailboat, Three Dolphins, in Key West. I have persued my passion as a photographer, primarily wildlife and underwater phot...Expand for more
o work. The majority of my photography is done for environmental groups. My girlfriend/partner for the past decade was a biologist specializing in birds, thus I learned quite a lot about them. She passed away this last summer after a lengthy illness, so I am newly single and trying to regroup myself at this time.

Today was overcast, grey. I explored Buena Vista where Luna and I will reside for the next 5 months. What a surprise! The soaring mountains (14,000 feet) frame a stunning and historic town. Another unexpected surprise.

Thought you guys might find the humor in this I do. You can tell this is a real metropolis. Yesterday they sent me the local phone book. This is for the town I am living in, Buena Vista, and all of four adjoining counties.
Well... Luna and I are enjoying our spring in the mountains of Colorado. One of few states where pot is completely legal. I stopped into a tiny pet store to get Luna a toy nip mouse. This was on the shelf. Only in Colorado!
