Life I returned to Sebastopol in 2003 after 17 years in the Palo Alto area to become a librarian at Sonoma State. After graduation in 1981, I attended Stanford, then lived in the Palo Alto area for the next 17 years, including several years in two intentional communities, Acorn Cooperative, and Magic, Inc. I was married briefly to Amy David in the early '90s, but since Oct. 1999, I've been happily married to fellow Stanford grad Joan Schwan . Joan and I have a son, Galen, and we own a 100 year old house in Sebastopol, CA that we're gradually restoring.
