George (Butch)'s Story
Hi,
Just thought I would fill in a few gaps. After graduating I married my sweetheart Debbie Fleming. In 1971 while we were still in school we had our first daughter Angi. In 1973 we had our secound daughter April. Deb started working at a bank while going to school for her nursing license. I jumped from job to job because of the economy. The years went by and in 1980 we had our son Josh. Knowing how the economy was in Mansfield I answered a add in the paper for a machinist in Arizona. We knew we couldn't make a go of it in Mansfield, so we moved. It was a hard decision to make with three kids but it turned out for the best. Deb and I created a life here that most people dream about. While we lived here in Arizona we loved to travel with the kids. I think the only states we haven't been thru are the Carolinas. dson Brenden. Deb and I were overjoyed and happy grandparents. Deb never stopped going to school, she got her RN,BSN,MSN degrees and won numerous awards. She finally found her calling as a Critical Care Educator, me and her traveled to numerous cities so she could do lecturing on nursing such as New Orleans,Reno,Denver,Los Angeles and Las Vegas to name a few. In the mean time I became a class A CNC Lathe machinist. She passed away last November but left a legacy in my heart and the medical field that will live on. A teaching room at JCL Hospital was dedicated to her on Jan. 22TH 2009. After thirty eight years of marriage I am lost in some aspects of life. I call it thirty eight because that is the amount of time we loved each other. I guess thats why I'm on Classmates, Maybe to find some answers or to meet somebody that was my freind back in the hippie days.
