George's Story
Married the love of my life Marie, on January 6, 1968. We have 2 daughters, 1 son and 2 grandsons. I spent 23 years on active duty in the U. S. Navy, retiring in 1987 a Navy Corpsman. Attended NSU, received a ASN Degree and a BS in Kinesiology with an endorsement in sports medicine in 1992. The VA re-evaluate my case and adjudicating me to 100% Service Connected Disabled in 1994. Vladimir’s Orthodox Seminary and received my Masters Degree in Theology in 2004. And recently accepted to St. Vladimir’s Doctoral Program. I was exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam and presently suffer with CLL/Leukemia, Stenosis of the Arteries going to my brain and have sever migraines and TIAs. I am on oxygen 24/7 to help increase oxygen flow to my brain. The AO has also caused most of not all of my teeth to break off which the VA is taking care of.
Just thank God every morning for my wife, family and another day of life.
