George's Story
George is from San Diego, California. He grew up in Mission Hills and later moved to Talmadge, where he attended Hoover High School from 1968-1971. He went to San Diego Mesa JC and graduated from San Diego State University (English, Business, Physical Education). He worked at Food Basket while attending college. he's spent the last 35 years in the Grossmont Union High School District (El Capitan, 1985-89; Granite Hills, 1990-2002; Grossmont High, 2002-Present). He currently teaches classes in English and PE and coaches football. George married Susan Brown, the love of his life in 1999, and they are now living the storybook life. George and Susan have begun planning the next phase of their lives, which includes moving to Whidbey Island in Washington state and living the good life..
