George's Story
If you don't remeber me, I'm the guy in the big chemistry spread in the yearbook. How I got to be in that I'll never know. "Spanky" Harris , our chemistry, teacher got so tired of me correcting him, he threw his shoe at me during class!
After High School graduation, went to Rutgers. Vietnam got me and I joined the Air Force from which I retired in 1989. I DID get to see the world (16 countried & 46 states), but not 'Nam! Been living overseas. TX (San Antonio, Austin & Ft Worth) & FL Gulf Coast. Been back to NJ twice-to go to classs reunion in 87 and to see my brother Chuck who still lives in Piscataway in 2007. e art department of an international magazine. I then opened my own computer biz in Ft Myers,FL and was very successful. I've been fully retired since 1999..I've only met with one member of our grad class. That was Beth Glenn who I met in Austin by coincidence.
I've been divorced twice, have one daughter and 2 grand kids. In my leisure time I collect coins & make replica swords. My mom & sister live about 10 miles away. We get together often.
Been in Ft Worth for 11 years, am unmarried & enjoying retired life in an upscale apartment complex.. I really like it here...convience of what a large city offers and small town hospitality. Dallas is a another story!
