Married my college sweet heart and got drafted in November of 71. Discharged from the Army as a corpman E5 in 73. Moved to Sacramento and went to work for a scrap steel company, who I had worked for part-time will attending college. In 79 became a Firefighter/Paramedic in Sacramento. My wife and I had a daughter in 77 and a son in 79 and move to a small town outside of Sacramento call Davis, Ca. In 85 went back to the steel business in the bay area. In 92 I was diagnosed with Metastatic Malignant Melanoma stage IV and given three to six months. To young to die I started an experimental chemotherapy. After six of the worst months of my life I went into remission. l also helped. At that point I stop working and decided to spend what time I had left with my family and friends. I have been very fortunate in life. I have been blessed with a great family and outstanding friends. With the doctors not giving me more than a few years I spent time with my two children and traveling with my wife. Our daughter went to UC Berkeley on a Field Hockey scholarship and graduated in 99 and now is working on a MBA in sport managment at USF. Our son received a football scholarship to Arizona State played one year and tranfered back to Ca. He just graduated from UC Davis in communication and play football for the last four years. In 97 I decided to go back to school and received another BA in Social Science and a teaching credential. I have been teaching part time at an inner city school in Sacramento and coaching football for the last four years. After both of are childern left for college my wife and I moved back to Sacramento. Well that the last thirty five years in a nut shell. I hope life has treated you all as wiil as it has me. Good Luck and God Bless.
