I have accomplished absolutely NOTHING of value since High School but I've had a hell of a time doing it!. I crossed the great Australian Nullabor Plain in a 1913 Rolls-Royce, have so far owned 237 Bentley and Rolls-Royce automobiles (not all at one time of course, it's taken me 30 years to accomplish this), been around the world twice, I sold a classic Mercedes-Benz to the Crown Prince of Thailand, sold an Armstrong Siddeley to Nicola Bulgari, set a few world record auction prices for some of my cars that I've consigned to the Barrett-Jackson, RM, and Bonham's Auction companies. Hey, I made a joke that Jay Leno laughed at - that must count for something doesn't it? I've had photographs published world-wide, had a chapter in a book published, other writings over the years have appeared in Autoweek, Sports Car Market, Road & Track - but all that was years before the internet and most of it's disappeared. I've worked as an artist with some success and if you watch way too much TV you have have seen me on Discovery Channel, Speed Channel, Velocity Channel and most recently TNT's "The Librarians"(hint - watch for episodes with a black Bentley and look closely at the driver). I've been married twice, shot once, stabbed once, I've been struck by lightning, survived an airplane crash, broken my neck twice, my ribs five times, fractured my skull in three places (and then spent a year learning to walk again, button a shirt and find my mouth with a spoon). A Bentley fell off a jack and crushed me one year (that was just three months after the last time I"d fractured my neck in an auto accident).
