George's Story

I had two hitches in the Marines (Semper Fi) in the late 60's to early 70's, then went into banking when I got out. I was a VP with Barclays, then Security Pacific, I left banking and worked 21+ years in equipment financing for global manufacturers. I'm now retired. After retiring, I studied Gemology and now work full-time as a Certified Gemologist at a custom jewelry shop. Never slow down. Never grow old. We strongly support LGBTQ+ rights and equality...Expand for more
. My wife, Holly, is a Nursing Supervisor at the VA Hospital in Long Beach. We have four daughters (two of which are RN's like Holly) and seven grandkids. I've played guitar since high school but, I quit playing in rock bands over 10 years ago. I still play guitar (& bass, ukulele, and percussion) behind Holly's womens' choral group for their concerts. Holly & I love family, friends, traveling, and good restaurants. Life has been very good to us,
